My fiance and I stayed here after driving 14 hours, and it was great. We had a very nice young man who checked us in! we were exhausted and wanting nothing more than showers and a comfy bed and that's exactly what we got. I was extremely pleased for spending 50 bucks. Of course I could nit-pick about the cleanliness, but when your spending such little money you shouldn't be expecting a 5 star hotel. We are actually on our way back through Tennessee right now and we are stopping at this same one again.
Hotel staff was nice, and nice breakfast. I guess theyre remodeling some. Our friends had an updated room, (looked nice!) but ours was not. There was a giant hole in the bathroom wall behind the door from the handle going through it, and the room had a nasty smell. It didn't effect the sleeping, but room was otherwise clean.
We had a nice stay, budget friendly and worked great for an overnight stop. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom fixtures are in need of some maintenance but not a deal breaker. Would stay again!
I wasn't very impressed when I first checked in but as the week went on, I became more impressed by the service rather than the facility itself. The ladies who cleaned my room every day did an excellent job. And the front desk was very friendly and informative. So give this place a chance. For the price you really can't beat it.
We checked in at 2:30 am for a 5 hour nap. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable and the HVAC system worked very fast to heat up the cold room. If you don't want to pay full price, just ask for a discount!
This Microtel is a bit older but they have done many updates. The beds are very comfortable and their pillows are the BEST! Great management too. Breakfast was great and fully stocked. Unlike other reviews it was extremely clean. No bugs! My only complaint is that the rooms are a bit small. Not bad though for the $50 I paid with a coupon.
Very nice. Bed was super comfortable, not to hard but not too soft. Desk clerk was friendly. The only thing that really needed to be done. Was to clean up all the cigarette butts from in front of the building. They were all in the rocks both sides of the entry way. Inside halls and rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. Enjoyed the stay.
Very nice staff. Well lit parking area. Rooms were clean but smelled a bit of musky type air prior to turning on the ac, likely due to the age of the building itself. For the price being so close to downtown after a major SEC football game, you really get a great deal. We'd stay there again.
